Scotland's Towns Week, a week-long celebration of the nation's towns and those who work to support towns and city districts, has begun today, Monday 18 November.
Coordinated by Scotland's Towns Partnership and Scotland's Improvement Districts, Scotland's Towns Week is a chance to collaborate, share best practice, interests and opportunities, and ultimately to help bring life, vitality and vibrancy back into our town centres.
To mark the first day of #STW19, the shortlist of entries to this year's FutureTown Design Competition has been revealed – view these here and vote for your favourite.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday 20th November over 150 stakeholders who work to support towns and city districts from across sectors will meet for our annual Scotland's Towns Conference, this year being held in Aberdeen Music Hall.
STP also encouraged people to check out their other upcoming events, including our practical place management workshop on legal, finance and governance issues (3rd December, Edinburgh), and the next meeting of the Cross Party Group on Towns and Town Centres (11th December, Scottish Parliament).
