Scottish Water To Carry Out Utility Works Near Luncarty Junction

Transport Scotland is urging A9 road users that temporary traffic lights will be in place overnight between 8pm and 6am on 16 December, as part of the A9 dualling works between Luncarty and Pass of Birnam.

The traffic management will be put in place to allow Scottish Water to undertake utility works near the Luncarty Junction.


To ensure the safety of road users and workers during the operations, traffic lights are necessary to restrict a short section of the A9 adjacent to the works, and will be controlled manually to minimise delays.

The works have been scheduled at night when traffic levels are at their lowest to reduce disruption for road users.
