The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) has announced the winners of the 2021 Scotland Housing Awards, recognising excellence in housing at a special ceremony at the DoubleTree Hilton in Glasgow.
The Scotland Housing Awards recognise the creativity, passion and innovation of housing organisations and individuals across the sector. Despite the challenges faced by the pandemic, this year's awards received over 100 entries across 17 categories, including best frontline housing story, excellence in housing innovation and excellence in health and wellbeing.
All shortlisted entries for the Scotland Housing Awards have been included in CIH's 2021 Good Practice Compendium – a core learning document full of inspiration, ideas, and innovation to help everyone across the sector create a future where everyone has a place to call home.
Commenting on the award winners, CIH Scotland director Callum Chomczuk said: "I am so pleased we have been able to return to our in-person Scotland Housing Awards for 2021. The Awards and accompanying Good Practice Compendium is one of the most important activities for CIH Scotland undertakes each year. It promotes and highlights how housing professionals make a difference across Scotland and impact the wider public policy objectives that make a difference to all our lives. Never has this been more important as navigate our way through the twin challenges of an unprecedented global pandemic and climate emergency.
