Miller Construction has appointed Charlie Veitch as Business Development Director for the Scottish region.
Charlie joins the leading construction firm following 13 years with Tannson Ltd where he was a Group Director, handling client liaison and diversification of the business into property and investment. During this time he held responsibility for securing design-and-construct projects on a negotiated or two-stage process, which fits perfectly with Miller Construction's approach to its business operations.
In his new role, Charlie, who is qualified in Construction Management, will be responsible for implementing a long-term client relationship strategy, analysing industry development, increasing brand awareness, and continuing to improve business practice throughout Scotland.
Charlie said: "At such an exciting time in the marketplace, when Scotland is preparing for the Commonwealth Games, I am delighted to join Miller Construction as Business Development Director for Scotland. It is a privilege to join this market-leading company and I look forward to contributing to its continued success."
Brian McQuade, Joint Managing Director for Miller Construction, said: "Charlie is a welcome addition to the team and brings with him a wealth of experience in construction which will add further value to our Scottish operations.
"The Scottish operations of our national business continue to grow in line with our business strategy and I am confident that Charlie’s appointment will assist in further increasing our reputation and standing in the construction marketplace where we continue to secure repeat business from our dedicated approach to our partnering principles."
