Rok building company has officially opened its new office in Stirling to serve the county and surrounding areas.
Rok has worked on several contracts in the area over the years and has already established itself as a local builder.
Stirling Provost Fergus Wood was asked to cut the ribbon to officially open the new office in front of specially invited guests.
The move is part of Rok's continued growth in Scotland and will bring up to 70 directly employed jobs to the Stirling area, with more to follow over the next 24 months as the firm looks to secure more contracts and enhance its relationships with local customers and suppliers in the region.
As well as conducting its building work out of the new Castle Business Park office, Rok plans to use it to expand its maintenance operations for Central Scotland.
The move involves the relocation of Rok's Stepps team in an effort to further improve service to its customers in the area and help it play a greater role in the local community.
Rok currently operates from a network of 11 offices across Scotland, including Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. The business specialises in providing building and maintenance services tailored to local need and customer wishes.
Past projects in the Stirling area include new office units at Castle Business Park, BMW’s Mini showroom at Broadleys and Dobbies Retail Outlet, Stirling.
Scott Alexander, Rok's area leader for Stirling, said: "Rok's influence in this region has grown considerably in the past year and we thrive on being Scotland’s local builder, so it was only right that we relocate to be at the heart of the community we are serving.
"Central Scotland has a healthy and diverse economy and we will strive to be an active part in that business community, creating links not only with other companies but with the wider community as well."
