Following hard on the heels of a recent deal to Network Rail, Hermes Property Unit Trust (HPUT), advised by King Sturge has concluded the third letting of 2009 at Belleknowes Industrial Estate in Inverkeithing, Fife.
Kwik-Fit, the fast fit and automotive parts replacement specialist has agreed a fifteen-year lease, with a three-year break option on Unit 12 at an annual rental of £28,230 (£4.95 per ft²).
The prominent end of terrace warehouse unit has recently been refurbished and extends to 5,703 ft². There is an open yard to the rear, with separate car parking facilities.
The unit will be a fully equipped Kwik Fit centre, offering MOT and servicing in addition to tyre, brake and exhaust replacement. The company has over 600 centres across the UK, including to in the Dunfermline area at Halbeath Road and Hospital Hill.
Kirsty Palmer of King Sturge in Edinburgh, who concluded the deal said: "Hermes' continued investment has ensured that demand for space at Belleknowes remains as strong as ever. We are pleased to conclude this deal and to welcome yet another high-profile occupier."
Belleknowes is a industrial estate that sits on a prominent 3.98 hectare site which is located three miles south east of Dunfermline and ten miles north of Edinburgh City Centre, immediately adjacent to Junction 1 on the M90 motorway.
It comprises a total of 22 units totalling 138,785 ft² (12,893 m²) of modern self-contained warehouse and industrial accommodation. Other tenants include Plumbase, Speedy Lifting, Homeserve Chem Dry, Iron Mountain, Peter Cox and SEPA. Three units currently remain available at the estate, ranging from circa 5,700 to
9,000 ft².
