Housebuilder CALA Homes has achieved record levels of customer satisfaction and a significant increase in sales of new homes.
Nearly 19 out of 20 (94.2%) people who bought a new home from CALA Homes in 2008 are willing to recommend the company to their best friend, according to independent housebuilding industry specialists In-house Research.
Confirmation of record levels of customer satisfaction at CALA Homes come at the same time as the housebuilder reported a significant boost in sales, increasing average monthly sales figures by 35% in the first quarter of 2009.
According to Alan Brown, Managing Director of CALA Homes, this outstanding level of customer satisfaction is due to the excellent customer service provided by all the company's employees, and helps to explain why the company has continued to sell strongly in current market conditions.
He said: "These results are a fantastic achievement by everyone who works for CALA, as there is no better recommendation than a purchaser feeling able to recommend a company to their best friend.
"All our hard work on customer service coupled with a meticulously designed and constructed product is paying real dividends in our sales, where we have seen a strong upturn in first quarter of 2009, despite the prevailing difficult market conditions."
In the North-east of Scotland, the first phase of CALA’s development at Priory Park in Inverurie sold out recently. This was followed by the sell-out the Rosewell Gardens in Aberdeen's prestigious west end and continuing strong sales of apartments at The Campus in the city's Hilton area.
CALA Homes has six operating companies in the North, East and West of Scotland, in Yorkshire, in the Midlands and in the South East of England, and is part of the Edinburgh-based CALA Group, the privately-owned UK housing and property developer.
